1964 Supro Folk Star

Posted on January 7, 2011 Posted in: Main Featured Item > Musical Instruments > Products
I literally saw this guitar coming toward me from accross the room.
With what little breath that wasn’t stolen by this red beauty, I gasped…
Supro….
Tube your finger and get ready. This is all about the slide guitar!
No one has butchered it in any way. Heck it’s in better shape than
me, and I’m 3 years younger. I would choose this over any recent model
metal body dobro. It projects like crazy, and has a smooth sound. Not
tame but smooth. Recorde with this and you’re a superstar !

The Parlour is happy to announce the arrival of G & L Guitars.

The initials “G” and “L” in the G & L Guitars come from the

Lengendary George Fullerton and Leo Fender of Fender guitars

fame.  After the Fender guitar company was sold to CBS in 1965,

Leo decided to form “G” and “L” guitars.   His old pal,  from his old

company,  Georgre Fullerton,  joined him.

G and L Guitars now features up-dated ideas and design that have

surpassed what he did with Fender Musical Instruments.
