Whether pawning, trading, selling or buying new or used equipment here at The Parlour there’s many things that need to be taken into consideration.
When someone brings an instrument in for pawn I treat it like a buy. I go through all the same criteria as if I was to buy it. This way if someone defaults on a loan and I have to sell the guitar, amp etc, I can charge a fair market price. In the next few months we will focus on how we evaluate guitars, basses, acoustic instruments, amps, and keyboards.
