I was originally going to blog about how to properly assess your own musical gear when you come to pawn, sell, or trade. not just the mechanics of your prized possessions but the monetary value. I was going to give you websites, book titles, blogs, YouTube info, the whole sh’bang. But the reality of it all here at The Parlour is, you don’t have to worry about it. We keep looking into things even after the transaction has been completed. If we sell something for more on an item that we originally appraised with you, we actually split that difference with you . For example if we buy a start copy for $100.00 we plan on selling it for $200.00. If we find out after we can get 350.00, we will keep track of it on your account. If we sell it and it doesn’t come back within 30 days, we will actually split the $150.00 with you. We will give you $75.00 It doesn’t happen a lot but it does happen. When it does, we are only too happy to hand over the cash. Challenge you to find another 2nd hand / pawn shop with this policy.
Peace, love and snow-tires.
